Pandora Audience Explorer
I designed this online tool, solely, for the Pandora sales team, so they can create visually compelling (and easily understandable) reports quickly, for select demographics.
This tool makes it easy for users to plug in the information for specific customer types on the left column and see the changes reflected in real-time on the right. Once finished the report can be exported or shared with the sales team’s clients.
This also helped in unifying the report look and feel company-wide, instead of the sales team making one-off reports which takes too much time and looks inconsistent.
I also interviewed the internal users to find out their needs and get familiar with their day-to-day operations and continually conducted User Testing with the Product Manager to make sure we’re on point with the design.
Pandora ARIA: Ad Sales Insights Tool
I worked along side with a Product Manager, multiple data scientists and analysts and front and back end engineers for nearly 3 years to create ARIA, an online Ad Campaign tool. This tool is mainly used by the Campaign Managers, to be able to view, analyze and even forecast campaigns and their status.
ARIA also saves the Campaign Managers more than 60% of their time that’s usually spent having to consolidate and report this information to clients, which saves the company a huge amount of money and creates better communication between Pandora and their Ad Sales clients.
Pandora TV: Music Video 10' UI
Experimental exercise on creating a 10’ UI featuring the videos captured by the Pandora Video team. They’ve created so much original, beautifully edited content and it would bring a lot of value to the brand for users to be able to enjoy this usually hidden content.
Pandora on Comcast: TV UI (10')
Working along side with the Ad Team Manager and multiple front and back end engineers and Product Managers, I designed the official Pandora TV UI that comes with the Comcast cable box.
The UI design focused on making the 10’ experience of listening to your favorite Pandora stations and exploring new music on the TV a fun and intuitive experience by not cramming the UI with all the features of the mobile design, but bringing out the lean-back experience that the TV UI is meant to have.
I also had to design for the UI to be navigated solely by the Comcast remote which is limiting, but an interesting exercise to say the least!
